MATCH REPORTS

 

It has been a difficult season for us this year trying to match last season's accomplishments, but it looks like we have finally turned the corner and are now producing some fine team performances.

 

We lost a player half-way through the season, leaving to join Old Catton which was a disappointment and this left us with only 13 boys. This meant several games we have only played with 11 players due to illness etc.

Our last game against Attleborough we played the whole second half with only 10 players on the pitch, but still out played Attleborough to win 4-0.

We are in 5th place in the league at present and may grab 4th place if results go our way

After reaching the Semi-Final of the League Cup last year, we were knocked out by Old Catton to a freakish last minute goal in the second round, but these things happen after dominating the game and not being able to score.

 

With the season almost over Paul and Myself are now looking to build the squad up to 16 boys and this should allow us to show our true potential again next season.
