2012 Summer Tournament

 

2012 Summer Tournament will be held on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th of May 2012 at Sprowston Community High School & Falcon Junior School.

 

This year we’re changing the format of our tournament and all age groups will be played under mini soccer rules.

 

We hope this will encourage exciting free flowing, entertaining football.

 

Our aim is to offer each team at least an hour of football and to make your day an enjoyable experience.

 

(Timings for Under 7 and Under 8 age groups may be adjusted to ensure child welfare is maintained).

   

Below are the days each age group will play:

 

Saturday 26th May = Age Groups T.B.C.

Boys/ Mixed Under 7s

Boys/Mixed Under 8s

Boys/Mixed Under 9s

  Boys/Mixed Under 10s

  Boys/Mixed Under 11s

 

Sunday 27th May = Age Groups T.B.C.

Boys Under 12s

Boys Under 13s

Boys Under 14s

Girls Under 10s

Girls Under 11s

Girls Under 12s

 Ladies

 

FA guidelines state Under 7 and Under 8 age groups are to be run on a non competitive basis. No results will be recorded and all participants in these age groups will be awarded with participation medals. 

 

The entry fee to the tournament has been set at ŁT.B.C. per team (non refundable). 

Please note we’ve had to limit each age group to a set number of teams. Therefore we advise you to book your place early to avoid disappointment.  Your club may enter a maximum of three teams per age group.  

Full bookings will only be accepted on return of a completed entry form along with payment. Cheques should be made payable to Sprowston F.C. and sent with your completed entry form to the tournament organizer. 

Provisional bookings will be accepted over the telephone but must be followed up with receipt of an entry form and payment within 7 days of your call. After the 7 day period, your provisional booking will expire.  

Acceptance of your entry will be confirmed within a week of receipt of your application and payment. 

The closing date for entries (subject to vacancies) will be T.B.C. May 2011. 

Once each age group is full, we will offer teams the chance to be placed on a waiting list. Teams on the waiting list will be advised should a place become available. No refund will be made to a withdrawing team.  
 
You will receive, by email, details of the tournament rules, registration forms and full information regarding the tournament at least 14 days before the event.  
 
Over the weekend there will be BBQ food, hot and cold drinks, ice creams and other refreshments available. We hope to provide numerous attractions (including a tournament photographer) to compliment the day.
